The committee members are elected by the general assembly and consists of five members .The Social Committee has its own chairperson, secretary and treasurer.
The Social Committee has additional responsibility to administer EDIR-consistent with the bi-laws of the association and will be responsible to the Executive committee. It facilitates aid and support as may be required to members within the bi-laws of the association. It serves as an immediate contact point between the members and the executive body and plan events for members and families to meet and enjoy the seasonal holidays when and as required.
The committee overlooks that there is always good harmony and closeness between members and provides first level assistance to resolve misunderstanding.
